Even if instant rice is manufactured using raw materials which are vulnerable to microbial contamination or difficult to sterilize, levels of microorganisms in the final instant rice are lower than a standard value, so a sufficient sterilization effect can be exhibited. There is no problem of deterioration of rice quality which may occur due to strict sterilization.
