Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a split magnet capable of simplifying a manufacturing process while reducing eddy current loss by adjusting a direction in which heavy rare earth elements for grain boundary diffusion are applied according to a magnetization direction of a magnet, and a manufacturing method thereof. The manufacturing method of the split magnet according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first preparation step of preparing a plurality of permanent magnet matrices having a constant magnetization direction by magnetization in a predetermined direction; a grain boundary diffusion step of forming a pair of diffusion surfaces by diffusing a diffusion material into a pair of surfaces parallel to the magnetization direction and opposite to each other in the prepared permanent magnet matrix; a second preparation step of preparing a permanent magnet assembly by stacking the plurality of permanent magnet matrices in a row so that the diffusion surfaces of the permanent magnet matrices face each other; and a division step of dividing the prepared permanent magnet assembly into a plurality of pieces along a surface perpendicular to the magnetization direction. Accordingly, operating efficiency of a driving motor can be increased.
본 발명은 자석의 자화방향에 따라 입계확산을 위한 중희토류가 도포되는 방향을 조정하여 와전류 손실을 저감하면서 제작 공정을 간소화할 수 있는 분할 자석 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시형태에 따른 분할 자석의 제조방법은 소정의 방향으로 자화시켜서 일정한 자화 방향을 갖는 복수개의 영구자석 모체를 준비하는 제 1 준비단계와; 준비된 영구자석 모체를 자화 방향과 평행하면서 서로 대향되는 한 쌍의 면으로 확산물질을 확산시켜서 한 쌍의 확산면을 형성하는 입계확산단계와; 영구자석 모체의 확산면이 서로 맞대어지도록 복수개의 영구자석 모체를 일렬로 적층시켜서 영구자석 접합체를 준비하는 제 2 준비단계와; 준비된 영구자석 접합체를 자화 방향과 수직인 면을 따라 복수개로 분할하는 분할단계를 포함한다. |
