Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a separator for a secondary battery, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery including the same and, specifically, to a separator for a secondary battery, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery including the same, wherein the separator for a secondary battery has sufficient heat resistance and mechanical properties without using a polymer-based organic binder having poor chemical stability by adopting a metal alkanoate having a polar group as a binder for fixing particles forming a porous active layer and also fixing the porous active layer and a porous substrate. 본 발명은 이차전지용 분리막, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것으로서, 구체적으로는 다공성 활성층을 형성하는 입자들을 고정하고, 또한 다공성 활성층과 다공성 기재를 고정하는 바인더로서 극성기를 갖는 금속알카노에이트를 채택함으로써, 화학적 안정성이 부족한 고분자계 유기 바인더를 사용하지 않고도 충분한 내열성 및 기계적 물성을 가지는 이차전지용 분리막, 이의 제조방법 및 이를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것이다.
