Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a function category classification method considering function significance. The function category classification method considering function significance comprises: a step of identifying a safety function of a nuclear power plant from nuclear power plant design data; a step of establishing evaluation elements for evaluating the safety significance of the safety function; and a step of evaluating the safety function in accordance with the evaluation elements and assigning a function category to the safety function. The evaluation elements include (1) the severity of results when a corresponding safety function fails, (2) the frequency at which the corresponding safety function is needed, and (3) whether the corresponding safety function contributes to arrival at a controlled state or a safe state. 본 발명은 기능 중요도를 고려한 기능범주 분류 방법에 관한 것으로, 원전 설계자료로부터 원자력발전소의 안전기능을 식별하는 단계; 상기 안전기능의 안전 중요도의 평가를 위한 평가요소를 수립하는 단계; 상기 평가요소에 따라 상기 안전기능을 평가하고 상기 안전기능에 대해 기능범주를 부여하는 단계를 포함하며, 상기 평가요소는 (1) 해당 안전기능 실패시 결과의 심각도, (2) 해당 안전기능이 필요한 발생 빈도 및 (3) 해당 안전기능이 제어가능한 상태(Controlled State) 또는 안전상태(Safe state)에 도달에 기여하는지 여부를 포함한다.
