Zusammenfassung:A method and an apparatus for automatically correcting an impact point of a close-in weapon system (CIWS) using a tracking radar according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention can perform an automatic impact point correction function that determines a bearing/elevation error of a gun by a tracking sensor through shooting so as to increase the ability of a CIWS to neutralize a target by minimizing dispersion. The method for automatically correcting an impact point of a CIWS using a tracking radar includes steps of: checking whether an automatic impact point correction operation is performed according to an impact point correction mode; and obtaining bullet information from a gate set at a pre-specified position according to the impact point correction mode when the automatic impact point correction operation is performed, and automatically correcting impact points based on the obtained bullet information. 본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 추적 레이더를 이용한 근접 방어 시스템의 자동 탄착 수정 방법 및 장치는, 근접 방어 시스템(close-in weapon system, CIWS)의 분산도를 최소화하여 표적의 무력화 능력을 높이기 위해, 사격을 통한 추적 센서로 포의 방위각(bearing)/고각(elevation) 오차를 결정하는 자동 탄착 수정 기능을 수행할 수 있다.
