Zusammenfassung: | The present invention provides an austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and surface characteristics of a welding part. An austenitic stainless steel with excellent corrosion resistance and surface characteristics of a welding part, according to one embodiment of the present invention, contains, by wt%, 0.04 to 0.07 % of C, 0.2 to 0.5 % of Si, 3.5 to 5.0 % of Mn, 5.0 to 6.0 % of Ni, 19.0 to 22.0 % of Cr, 0.1 % or less of P, 0.01 % or less of S, 1.5 to 2.5 % of Cu, 1.0 % or less of Mo, 0.25 to 0.35 % of N, and balance consisting of Fe and unavoidable impurities. An intergranular corrosion index (IGCN) value represented by the following formula (1) is 0 or more. The following formula (1) is represented by IGCN = 15.4 - 296C - 3.77Si + 0.0019Mn + 0.363Cr - 0.292Ni - 0.861Cu - 2.99Mo + 11.4N. In the formula (1), C, Si, Mn, Cr, Ni, Cu, Mo, and N mean the wt% of each element. The present invention can secure corrosion resistance while reducing costs.
