Zusammenfassung:	According to the present disclosure, disclosed is a method by which an electronic device provides information, which includes the steps of: acquiring information about an item selected by a user; acquiring account information about the user including a plurality of pieces of payment means information registered by the user; acquiring benefit information related to item payment for at least one payment means from among a plurality of payment means; and providing information about a first payment means selected from among the plurality of payment means on the basis of the benefit information about the at least one payment means and first benefit information provided by the first payment means.
