Disclosed is an eco-friendly faucet capable of realizing an eco-friendly environment by allowing water to contact only a plastic material. The faucet includes: a main body manufactured by die casting and having an accommodation space therein; a cartridge connected with a water supply pipe and performing mixing and opening/closing of hot and cold water; a valve body accommodating the cartridge therein; an adapter inserted into and coupled to a spout of the main body; a pipe having one end coupled to the valve body and the other end coupled to the adapter; and a lever coupled to the cartridge via a hinge to operate the cartridge. 물이 플라스틱 재질에만 접촉하도록 함으로써 친환경을 구현할 수 있는 친환경 수전이 개시된다. 상기 수전은, 다이캐스팅으로 제조되고 내부에 수용공간이 구비된 본체; 물 공급관이 연결되고 냉온수의 혼합과 개폐를 수행하는 카트리지; 상기 카트리지를 내부에 수용하는 밸브 보디; 상기 본체의 토수구에 끼워져 결합하는 어댑터; 일단이 상기 밸브 보디에 결합하고 타단이 상기 어댑터에 결합하는 파이프; 및 힌지를 개재하여 상기 카트리지에 결합하여 상기 카트리지를 조작하는 레버를 포함한다.
