DISPLAY APPARATUS HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME AND METHOD OF DRIVING THE DISPLAY APPARATUS

A display device includes a display panel, a data driving part and an emission driving part. The data driving part writes a first data voltage into a first display area of the display panel in a first frame and writes a second data voltage into a second display area of the display panel in a second frame. The emission driving part emits light on the first display area based on the first data voltage in the second frame, and emits light on the second display area based on the second data voltage in a third frame. An area of a first visual image recognized by a user due to the light emission of the first display area is partially overlapped with an area of a second visual image recognized by the user due to the light emission of the second display area.
