Card reader detachable temperature measuring apparatus and card reader control method

Disclosed are a card reader detachable body temperature measuring device and a card reader controlling method. According to an aspect of the present invention, a card reader detachable body temperature measuring device is provided. As the body temperature measuring device detached from a card reader of public transportation, the body temperature measuring device comprises: a sensor module which is installed around a tag unit of the card reader, and measures a body temperature of a passenger; a controlling module which outputs a payment acceptable signal when a body temperature measured in the sensor module is within a normal temperature range, and outputs a payment non-acceptable signal when the body temperature is outside the normal body temperature range; and a communicating module which transmits the payment acceptable signal and the payment non-acceptable signal to the card reader. When receiving the payment acceptable signal, the card reader performs transportation fee payment. When receiving the payment non-acceptable signal, the card reader does not perform the transportation fee payment.
