ELECTRIC HEATER AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRIC HEATER

The present invention relates to an electric heater and a control method of the electric heater. The electric heater according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a heating element that dissipates heat according to a voltage being supplied from an external power source; a switch disposed between the external power source and the heating element to adjust a supply voltage from the external power source to the heating element; a voltage detection part that detects a supply voltage value for which is the voltage value supplied from the external power source; and a control part that compares the supply voltage value with a preset reference voltage value, and adjusts a turn-on time per cycle of the switch based on a comparison result.
