ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR-ATTACHABLE APPARATUS FOR LOW-LIMB MUSCULAR EXERCISE

The present invention relates to an electric wheelchair-attachable apparatus having a lower body muscle exercise function, which secures mobility basically as an electric wheelchair and at the same time, provides a lower body muscle exercise function through pedal exercise for preventing muscle degeneration of paraplegic patients or elderly people, thereby preventing deep vein thrombosis, joint function deterioration, and the like caused by muscle reduction or degeneration because of not using the low body muscles by himself or herself. The present invention provides the electric wheelchair-attachable apparatus having a lower body muscle exercise function, comprising: an electric wheelchair unit on which a user is seated, and which is configured to be movable; a lower body muscle exercise unit provided in the electric wheelchair unit and configured to enable a seated user to exercise lower body muscles; and a control module provided in the electric wheelchair unit and configured to control the operation of the electric wheelchair unit and the lower body muscle exercise unit. 본 발명은 기본적으로 전동 휠체어로서 이동성을 확보함과 동시에, 하반신 마비 환자나 고령자의 근육퇴화를 막기 위해 페달 운동을 통한 하반신 근육운동 기능을 제공함으로써 스스로 하반신 근육을 사용하지 못해 근육이 감소 또는 퇴화하여 심부정맥 혈전증, 관절 기능 저하 등을 방지할 수 있도록 하는, 하반신 근육운동 기능을 갖는 전동 휠체어용 장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 이용자가 착석하고, 이동 가능하게 구성되는 전동 휠체어 유닛; 상기 전동 휠체어 유닛에 구비되며, 착석한 이용자가 하반신 근육운동을 실행할 수 있도록 구성되는 하반신 근육운동 유닛; 및 상기 전동 휠체어 유닛에 구비되고, 상기 전동 휠체어 유닛과 하반신 근육운동 유닛의 동작을 제어하도록 구성되는 제어 모듈;을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 하반신 근육운동 기능을 갖는 전동 휠체어용 장치가 제공된다.
