Air Conditioner

The present invention relates to an air conditioner. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the air conditioner comprises: a cabinet assembly forming an exterior and having an inlet; a filter assembly placed on the inlet and removing foreign matter from the introduced air; and a filter cleaning assembly placed on an outer side of the cabinet assembly and removing foreign matter from the filter assembly. The filter cleaning assembly includes: a filter module removing foreign matter from the flowing air; a filter mounting member having the filter module mounted thereon; a filter cleaner removing foreign matter from the filter assembly; a movement guider guiding the movement of the filter cleaner; and a power supply apparatus for supplying power to the filter cleaner. When the filter cleaner is placed on the lowermost end within the movement range, in which the filter cleaner can move along the movement guider, the position of the filter mounting member is changed so that the widthwise direction of the filter module can head towards a front side.
