According to exemplary embodiments for achieving the above technical problem, a light emitting diode (LED) package is provided. The LED package includes a package substrate; a light emitting diode (LED) chip on the first surface of the package substrate; and first and second external connection pads formed on a second surface of the package substrate opposite to the first surface. The first external connection pad includes first to fourth sides. The first side is farther from the center of the package substrate than the second side.
