Zusammenfassung:	Related is a method for detecting defects in lead tabs for a secondary battery, which may include a step of preparing a lead tab with an insulating film attached thereto; a step of applying heat of a predetermined temperature to the lead tab with the insulating film attached thereto; a step of acquiring a thermal image by taking a thermal image to which the heat has been applied; a step of checking whether an airgap exists in an insulating film region which does not overlap with respect to the lead tab based on the thermal image; and a step of detecting the corresponding lead tab as a defect when an air gap exists in insulating film region which does not overlap with respect to the lead tab. According to the present invention, the productivity and inspection reliability can be increased by accurately detecting and classifying only lead tabs with defects. 이차전지용 리드탭의 불량 검출 방법에 관한 것으로, 절연 필름이 부착된 리드탭을 준비하는 단계, 상기 절연 필름이 부착된 리드탭에 소정 온도의 열을 인가하는 단계, 상기 열이 인가된 리드탭을 열화상 촬영하여 열화상 영상을 획득하는 단계, 상기 열화상 영상에 기반하여 상기 리드탭에 대해 비중첩되는 절연 필름 영역에 에어갭(airgap)이 존재하는지를 확인하는 단계, 그리고 상기 리드탭에 대해 비중첩되는 절연 필름 영역에 에어갭이 존재하면 상기 상응하는 리드탭을 불량으로 검출하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
