Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a zirconium recovery process and a waste zirconium treatment method using the same. One aspect of the present invention provides the zirconium recovery process comprising the following steps of: electrolytic-refining zirconium (Zr) alloy by using chloride molten salt as electrolyte; recovering ZrCl electrodeposited on an electrode surface through electrolytic refining; and obtaining zirconium by pyrolyzing the recovered ZrCl. In the zirconium recovery process, high purity zirconium is recovered from zirconium alloy with a high recovery rate. 본 발명은 지르코늄 회수 공정 및 이를 사용한 폐 지르코늄의 처리 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 측면은, 염화물 용융염을 전해질로 사용하여 지르코늄(Zr) 합금을 전해정련하는 단계; 상기 전해정련을 통해 전극 표면에 전착된 ZrCl을 회수하는 단계; 및 상기 회수된 ZrCl을 열분해하여 지르코늄을 수득하는 단계;를 포함하는, 지르코늄 회수 공정을 제공한다.
