Filter for water purifier using chitosan fiber

A water filter using chitosan fibers of the present invention includes: an ion exchange resin layer formed by including high-concentration functional groups in a polymer matrix; an activated carbon fiber layer; and an activated carbon layer positioned between the ion exchange resin layer and the activated carbon fiber layer, wherein the activated carbon fiber layer is a chitosan fiber layer and is surface-modified. According to the present invention, the chitosan fibers are used as the water filter, so that a water treatment speed is fast, foreign matter removal ability is superior, and heavy metals, residual chlorine and chemical substances can be removed at the same time, accordingly it is unnecessary to put other materials, thereby simplifying a filter manufacturing process. 본 발명의 키토산섬유를 이용한 정수필터는 고농도의 작용기들을 고분자 매트릭스에 포함하여 형성된 이온교환수지층, 활성탄소섬유층 및 상기 이온교환수지층과 상기 활성탄소섬유층 사이에 위치하는 활성탄층을 포함한 정수필터에 있어서, 상기 활성탄소섬유층은 키토산섬유층이고 표면개질된 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 정수필터로 키토산섬유를 사용하므로 정수처리속도가 빠르면서도 이물질 제거능력이 우월한 효과가 있고, 중금속 제거, 잔류염소, 화학물질 제거를 동시에 할 수 있어 다른 소재를 넣을 필요가 없으므로 필터 제조 공정이 단순해진다.
