Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an eddy current sensor for inspecting cracks in a pouch-type battery cell and a method for inspecting cracks in a battery cell using the same that can easily detect the presence and location of cracks on electrodes, electrode tabs, or welds. According to the present invention, an eddy current sensor for inspecting cracks in a battery cell comprises: a probe; a transmission unit disposed in the probe and having a structure in which a transmission coil for inducing eddy currents in a battery cell to be evaluated is wound; and a reception unit having a structure in which a reception coil disposed in the probe and disposed in a region spaced apart from the transmission unit to generate inductor power by an eddy current induced in the battery cell by the transmission coil is wound. 본 발명은 파우치형 전지 셀의 균열 검사를 위한 와전류 센서 및 이를 이용한 전지 셀의 균열 검사 방법에 관한 것으로, 전극, 전극 탭 또는 용접부 상에 발생한 균열의 유무와 위치 등을 용이하게 검출할 수 있다.
