Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing ultrathin glass and ultrathin glass manufactured by the method, wherein the method for manufacturing ultrathin glass includes (a) a step of preparing a plurality of cells by cutting the original glass into cells; (b) a step of physically polishing the cut surfaces of the cells; (c-1) a step of etching the polished cells; and (c-2) a step of healing the polished cut surfaces of the cells. According to the present invention, the yield can be improved by lowering breakage possibility in a post treatment process. 본 발명은 (a) 원판 글라스를 셀 단위로 절단하여 복수의 셀을 준비하는 단계; (b) 상기 셀의 절단면을 물리적으로 연마하는 단계; (c-1) 상기 연마한 셀을 식각하는 단계; 및 (c-2) 상기 셀의 연마된 절단면을 힐링하는 단계를 포함하는, 초박형 글라스의 제조방법 및 상기 방법으로 제조된 초박형 글라스에 관한 것이다.
