METHOD AND DEVICE FOR AUTOMATICALLY CREATING ADVERTISEMENT BANNER USING ADVERTISEMENT THEME COLOR EXTRACTED FROM IMAGE

The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for automatically generating an advertisement banner using an advertisement theme color extracted from an image. The method of automatically generating an advertisement banner may include the steps of: receiving an image; extracting dominant color values of the image; extracting a second set of reference colors by mapping representative color values to one of a first set of reference colors included in a color palette, respectively; extracting a third set of reference colors to be used as advertisement theme color candidates by grouping the second set of reference colors; and generating at least one advertisement banner including an image by using one of the third set of reference colors as an advertisement theme color. The reference colors of the second set may be a subset of the reference colors of the first set, and the reference colors of the third set may be a subset of the reference colors of the second set. 본 개시는 이미지에서 추출된 광고 테마 컬러를 이용하여 광고 배너를 자동으로 생성하는 방법 및 장치에 관한 것이다. 광고 배너 자동 생성 방법은 이미지를 수신하는 단계, 이미지의 대표 컬러(dominant color) 값들을 추출하는 단계, 대표 컬러 값들을 각각 컬러 팔레트에 포함된 제1 세트의 참조 컬러 중 하나로 맵핑(mapping)하여 제2 세트의 참조 컬러를 추출하는 단계, 제2 세트의 참조 컬러를 그룹핑(grouping)하여 광고 테마 컬러 후보로 사용할 제3 세트의 참조 컬러를 추출하는 단계 및 제3 세트의 참조 컬러 중 하나를 광고 테마 컬러로 이용하여 이미지가 포함된 적어도 하나의 광고 배너를 생성하는 단계를 포함할 수 있고, 여기서 제2 세트의 참조 컬러는 제1 세트의 참조 컬러의 서브 세트이고, 제3 세트의 참조 컬러는 제2 세트의 참조 컬러의 서브 세트일 수 있다.
