Zusammenfassung: | The present invention provides a nickel-based lithium metal composite oxide, a positive electrode including the same, and a lithium secondary battery including the positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte interposed between both electrodes. The nickel-based lithium metal composite oxide includes secondary particles including aggregates of primary particles, wherein the secondary particles include i) larger secondary particles having a particle size of 14 micrometers or more and containing aluminum (Al), and ii) smaller secondary particles having a particle size of 5 micrometers or less and containing manganese (Mn), wherein the content of manganese of the larger secondary particles is smaller than the content of manganese of the smaller secondary particles, manganese (Mn) is contained on the surfaces of the larger secondary particles, and aluminum (Al) is contained on the surfaces of the smaller secondary particles.
