A clothing sorting device is disclosed. The clothing sorting device comprises: a first roller; a second roller disposed opposite the first roller; a driving device for rotating the first and second rollers in different directions, respectively; a sensor for detecting the position of the clothing in each of an upper region and a lower region of the first and second rollers; and a processor for controlling the driving device so that the clothing repeatedly moves between the first and second rollers a predetermined number of times when the clothing is placed on the first and second rollers, wherein the processor controls the driving device to change the rotation directions of the first and second rollers when it is confirmed that the clothing has passed through an upper part or area based on a sensing result of the sensor.
