The present invention relates to a shift actuator of a shift-by-wire transmission for a vehicle. The shift actuator of a shift-by-wire transmission for a vehicle includes a driving motor. The driving motor includes: a stator having a housing space formed in a center part; a rotor housed in the housing space to be rotated through interaction between the stator and a magnetic force, while eccentrically rotated along a path spaced by an eccentric distance apart from an eccentric position; a deceleration part reducing the eccentric rotation speed of the rotor; and an output shaft rotated at the rotation speed reduced by the deceleration part.
