In some embodiments an eyewear apparatus includes a frame with a seal configured to engage with the skin of the wearer around a majority of the perimeter of an interior portion of the front of the frame sufficient to keep the humidity around the eye high enough to provide relief from symptoms of dry eye syndrome.
