Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for automatic sampling, which has an improved control logic of greatly reducing the possibility that liquid is scattered and fumes occur and inhibiting the occurrence of bubbles when a sample is injected into a container to allow stable sampling to be performed, and a driving mechanism supporting the same. The apparatus for automatic sampling according to the present invention comprises: a main body unit having a sample chamber from which a sample is injected into a container; a grip unit disposed in the sample chamber to grip or loosen the container; an inversion and erection unit rotating the grip unit in a vertical direction to erect or invert the container; a sample injection unit supplying the sample to an inside of the container; and a control unit controlling operation of the inversion and erection unit, wherein the control unit controls the inversion and erection unit such that the container becomes inclined from a vertical line when the sample fallen from the sample injection unit into the container is collected.
