Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a power distribution line power outage management system and a method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the power distribution line power outage management system comprises: a power meter modem for supplying auxiliary power for a certain period of time when main power is off to detect an on/off state of a power meter installed in a consumer house so as to determine whether a power outage has occurred and generate a power outage signal or a power recovery signal according to a determination result; a data concentrating device for transmitting the power outage signal or the power recovery signal to a server when the power outage signal or the power recovery signal is received from the power meter modem; and a server for receiving the power outage signal or the power recovery signal from the power meter modem or the data concentrating device, managing modem power outage information in association with GIS information, and predicting a failure of a power distribution facility based on the modem power outage information. 배전선로 정전관리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 배전선로 정전관리 시스템은, 주전원 오프시 일정시간 동안 보조전원이 공급되어, 수용가에 설치된 전력량계로부터의 전원 온오프 상태를 감지하여 정전 발생 여부를 판단하고, 그 판단 결과에 따라 정전 신호 또는 복전 신호를 발생하는 전력량계 모뎀, 상기 전력량계 모뎀으로부터 정전 신호 또는 복전 신호의 수신 시 상기 정전 신호 또는 복전 신호를 서버로 전송하는 데이터집중장치, 상기 전력량계 모뎀 또는 상기 데이터집중장치로부터 정전 신호 또는 복전 신호를 수신하고, 모뎀 정전정보를 GIS 정보와 연계하여 관리하며, 상기 모뎀 정전정보에 기초하여 배전 설비의 고장을 예측하는 서버를 포함한다.
