Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is an air treatment device for a household appliance having a container device. Related is an air treatment device for a household appliance, wherein the air treatment device comprises a first housing in which at least one treatment device is disposed, and the air treatment device has a supply device and a discharge device. The supply device is provided for directing air flow to the treatment device. The discharge device is provided for directing the air flow away from the treatment device, preferably to the container device. The at least one treatment device comprises a passage channel for air flow, a radiation source device, and a photocatalytic device.
