Zusammenfassung:	Provided is a battery case in which two battery case members are joined to each other, and mechanical strength is improved in the joined portion. The battery case (10) disclosed in the present invention is a six-sided box-shaped battery case having two rectangular wide surfaces, three rectangular sidewalls positioned between the two wide surfaces, and an opening. The battery case (10) has the joined portion (11) in the periphery (three sides) thereof. 2개의 전지 케이스 부재가 서로 접합되어 이루어지는 전지 케이스이며, 해당 접합된 부분에 있어서의 기계적 강도가 향상된 전지 케이스를 제공한다. 여기서 개시되는 전지 케이스(10)는, 2개의 직사각 형상의 광폭면과, 해당 2개의 광폭면 사이에 존재하는 3개의 직사각 형상의 측벽과, 개구부를 구비한 6면 상자형의 전지 케이스이다. 상기 전지 케이스(10)는, 그 주위(3변)에 있어서 접합 부분(11)을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
