Storage device for high speed link startup and storage system including the same

Disclosed are a storage device performing a high-speed link startup and a storage system comprising the same. The storage system communicates data through a connected transmission lane and a connected reception lane among a plurality of lanes between a host and the storage device. The host transmits an activation section shorter than an activation section of a first time of the connected transmission lane to the connected reception lane, and the storage device receives the activation section shorter than that of the first time of the connected reception lane. The host and the storage device perform a link start-up in a high-speed mode through the connected transmission lane and the connected reception lane based on the activation section shorter than that of the first time.
