Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a clutch lining having a high mechanical strength after a thermal abuse. A dry friction lining for an automobile clutch apparatus comprises a friction layer and a support portion. The present support portion comprises, on one hand, a binder including a resin, an elastomer, and a filler. On the other hand, the support portion comprises a reinforcing yarn (10) extending over several turns around a central axis perpendicular to the friction surface. This reinforcing yarn (10) comprises a carbon base yarn formed of a plurality of long base carbon fibers, preferably an organic base yarn of a multicore fiber type. The reinforcing yarn (10) is configured to form a mesh of a backing layer itself.
