SIM ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECEIVING SMS MESSAGE IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING MULTIPLE SIMS

The present invention relates to an electronic device, and a method for receiving a short message service (SMS) message in the electronic device supporting multiple subscriber identity modules (SIMs). According to various embodiments of the present invention, the electronic device comprises: a memory; one or more processors; and a plurality of SIMs. The one or more processors are able to check a preset SIM switching condition for receiving the SMS message stored in the memory, control so that the connection to a first SIM currently connected among the plurality of SIMs can be severed and a second SIM which is not connected among the plurality of SIMs at least based on the checked SIM switching condition, and control so that the SMS message can be received from a communication network corresponding to the second SIM by corresponding to the connection to the second SIM.
