Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a device for detecting thermal runaway of a battery for an electric vehicle. The device for detecting thermal runaway of a battery for an electric vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention can include: an external case; a plurality of battery cells provided inside the external case; a sensing module provided in any one of the plurality of battery cells and sensing the deformation amount of the battery cells; and a printed circuit board connected through lead wires of the plurality of battery cells and transmitting the voltage and temperature of the battery cells and the deformation amount sensed by the sensing module to a battery management system. 전기 차량용 배터리의 열폭주 감지 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 전기 차량용 배터리의 열폭주 감지 장치는 외장 케이스; 상기 외장 케이스의 내부에 구비되는 복수 개의 배터리 셀; 상기 복수 개의 배터리 셀 중 어느 하나의 배터리 셀에 구비되고, 상기 배터리 셀의 변형량을 감지하는 센싱 모듈; 및 상기 복수의 배터리 셀의 리드선을 통해 연결되고, 상기 배터리 셀의 전압, 온도, 및 상기 센싱 모듈에서 감지된 상기 배터리 셀의 변형량을 배터리 관리 시스템에 전송하는 인쇄 회로 기판;을 포함할 수 있다.
