Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an exterior member for home appliances and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the exterior member for home appliances includes: a steel plate made of a metal material; a primer layer formed on the upper surface of the steel plate to bond adjacent layers; a base layer formed on one surface of the primer layer; a print layer formed on one surface of the base layer; and a clear coating layer formed on one surface of the print layer. The clear coating layer includes a melamine-based curing agent and an amine-based additive, and has irregularities on the surface thereof. 본 발명은 가전기기용 외장부재 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 금속 소재로 형성된 강판; 상기 강판의 상면에 형성되며, 이웃하는 층간의 결합을 위한 프라이머층; 상기 프라이머층 일면에 형성되는 베이스층; 상기 베이스층 일면에 형성되는 프린트층; 및 상기 프린트층 일면에 형성되는 클리어 코팅층;을 포함하고, 상기 클리어 코팅층은, 멜라민계 경화제와 아민계 첨가제를 포함하며, 표면에 요철을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
