Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to novel epitopes of SARS-CoV2 causing coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, and to a use thereof. In designing a neutralization peptide protein capable of interfering with the binding between the spike protein S1-RBD present on the surface of the coronavirus and hACE2, from among the numerous charged amino acids present in the RBD structure, D420, R457, K458, E471, etc., which do not directly interact with hACE2, but exist behind the binding site, were discovered as novel epitopes on the RBD surface. It was confirmed that the novel RBD epitopes strongly interact with the neutralization peptide developed by the present inventors.
