Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a device for evaluating a freezing feature of a cable, and a method therefor using the same. The device comprises: a housing blocking introduction of external air and maintaining the inside thereof at set temperature; a fixing unit installed inside the housing and fixating a cable; a mold unit storing frozen liquid therein and closely attached to the cable where the frozen liquid is bonded to the cable; an operation unit generating driving force to separate the cable and the mold unit; and a measurement unit measuring load applied when the cable and the molt unit are separated and displacement between the cable and the mold unit. 본 발명은 케이블 결빙특성 평가 장치와 이를 이용한 케이블 결빙특성 평가 방법에 관한 것으로, 외기의 유입을 차단하고, 내부를 설정 온도로 유지시키는 하우징과, 하우징의 내부에 설치되고, 케이블을 고정시키는 고정부와, 내부에 결빙된 액체가 수용되고, 결빙된 액체가 케이블에 접합됨에 따라 케이블에 밀착되는 몰드부와, 구동력을 발생시켜 케이블과 몰드부를 분리시키는 작동부와, 케이블과 몰드부가 분리됨에 따라 가해지는 하중과 케이블과 몰드부간의 변위를 측정하는 측정부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
