Zusammenfassung: | According to one embodiment of the present invention, a quantum dot color display based on a helical photonic crystal comprises: a back light unit including a light source; a quantum dot light emitting unit including a plurality of quantum dot patterns having a light emitting feature; and a reflection layer located between the back light unit and the quantum dot light emitting unit and including a plurality of helical photonic crystal patterns. The helical photonic crystal patterns can reduce light loss by selectively reflecting light emitted from the quantum dot patterns toward the back light unit and greatly improve efficiency of brightness and light extraction compared to an existing quantum dot color display.
본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 나선광결정 기반 양자점 컬러 디스플레이는, 광원을 포함하는 백라이트부; 광 발광 특성을 갖는 복수의 양자점 패턴을 포함하는 양자점 발광부; 및 백라이트부와 양자점 발광부 사이에 위치하며, 복수의 나선광결정 패턴을 포함하는 반사층을 포함한다. 나선광결정 패턴은 양자점 패턴으로부터 백라이트부를 향해 방출되는 빛을 선택적으로 반사함으로써 광 손실을 줄일 수 있고, 기존의 양자점 컬러 디스플레이에 비해 휘도 및 광 추출 효율을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. |
