Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing an Alpinia officinarum extract as an active ingredient, which more specifically comprises an Alpinia officinarum extract as an active ingredient to effectively suppress reactive oxygen generation, cell death, and collagen degradation caused by infrared rays, and at the same time effectively suppress secretion of histamine and nitric oxide (NO), which are vasodilator materials involved in skin temperature rise. 본 발명은 고량강 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것으로, 더욱 자세하게는 고량강 추출물을 유효성분으로 포함함으로써, 적외선에 의해 유발되는 활성산소생성, 세포사멸 및 콜라겐분해를 효과적으로 억제함과 동시에 피부 온도상승에 관여하는 혈관확장물질인 히스타민과 NO(nitric oxide)의 분비를 효과적으로 억제한다는 데 특징이 있다.
