Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an emblem for a vehicle that is installed on an airbag cover of an airbag device for a driver's seat and can display images of various shapes. The emblem for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises: a body formed in a shape corresponding to an image to be embodied; and a plurality of leg portions that extend downward from a lower surface of the body and are coupled to an airbag cover. The present invention has a configuration to form a plating layer on the surface of an emblem made of a synthetic resin material by forming a plating layer that provides the surface effect of a metal material on the upper surface of the body, and surface-treating the surface of the plating layer with an abrasive sand, thereby creating the surface effect of an emblem made of a metal material. 자동차용 엠블럼의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 형상화하고자 하는 이미지에 대응되는 형상으로 형성되는 바디 및 상기 바디의 하면에서 하방으로 연장되어 에어백 커버에 결합되는 복수의 다리부를 포함하고, 상기 바디의 상면에는 금속 재질의 표면 효과를 제공하는 도금층이 형성되는 구성을 마련하여, 합성수지 재질의 재료로 제조된 엠블럼의 표면에 도금층을 형성하고, 도금층 표면을 연마사로 표면 처리해서 금속 재질의 제료로 제조된 엠블럼의 표면 효과를 얻을 수 있다.
