Zusammenfassung:An objective of the present invention is to provide a device and method for providing medical image-based disease diagnosis information capable of processing and analyzing a medical image in a histogram manner, thereby evaluating and guiding a patient's disease level in units of organs. The present invention relates to the device and method for computing a medical image-based disease index. The device comprises: an interested area setting unit extracting an interested area in which an organ of interest is photographed from a medical image; a histogram analyzing unit generating a histogram of the interested area and calculating kurtosis and skewness of the interested area based on the histogram; a kurtosis map generation unit generating a kurtosis map of the interested area by converting a brightness value for each voxel in the interested area into a kurtosis value for each voxel and performing color coding; and a disease index calculation unit guiding the kurtosis, the skewness, and the kurtosis map to the medical staff as the disease index of the organ of interest. 본 발명은 의료영상 기반 질환 지표 산출 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 이는 의료영상으로부터 관심 장기가 촬영된 관심 영역을 추출하는 관심 영역 설정부; 상기 관심 영역에 대한 히스토그램을 생성하고, 상기 히스토그램에 기반하여 상기 관심 영역의 첨도와 왜도를 산출하는 히스토그램 분석부; 상기 관심 영역내 복셀별 밝기 값을 복셀별 첨도값으로 변환한 후 색상 코드화함으로써, 상기 관심 영역의 첨도맵을 생성하는 첨도맵 생성부; 및 상기 첨도, 상기 왜도, 및 상기 첨도맵을 관심 장기의 질환 지표로써 의료진에게 안내하는 질환 지표 산출부;를 포함한다.
