More particularly, by reacting primary amine succinate, manufactured by reacting succinic acid with primary amine, with an acid catalyst, a metal catalyst, and a reducing agent to manufacture the N-substituted succinimide, it is possible to simply and economically mass-produce high-purity and high-quality N-substituted succinimide in high-yield, which is industrially useful and can be widely applied to various industrial fields.
