Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a secondary battery which comprises: an electrode assembly on which a positive pole, separation film, and negative pole are laminated, and in which on one side, a positive pole tab protrudes and on the other side, a negative pole tab protrudes and a penetrating hole is formed; an upper can which includes a flat surface unit and a circumferential unit which protrudes vertically along an edge of the flat surface unit; a lower can which includes a flat surface unit and a circumferential unit which protrudes vertically along an edge of the flat surface unit, and the circumferential unit is inserted to be parallel to the circumferential unit of the upper can; and a center pin which applies an elastic force in a longitudinal direction when inserted into the penetration hole. The negative pole tab is placed parallelly to the flat surface unit of the lower can. The positive pole tab is placed parallelly to the flat surface unit of the upper can. When the upper can is engaged with the lower can, the center pin makes the negative pole tab come in close contact with the lower can and makes the positive pole tab come in close contact with the upper can by applying elastic force. As such, in accordance with the present invention, the secondary battery is capable of deleting the welding process of the positive pole tab and the negative pole tab. 본 발명은, 양극, 분리막, 음극이 적층되고 일측으로는 양극탭이 돌출되며 타측으로 음극탭이 돌출되고 관통홀이 형성된 전극조립체; 평평한 평면부와 상기 평면부의 테두리를 따라 수직방향으로 둘레부가 돌출된 상부캔; 평평한 평면부와 상기 평면부의 테두리를 따라 수직방향으로 둘레부가 돌출되고, 상기 둘레부가 상기 상부캔의 둘레부와 평행하도록 끼워지는 하부캔; 및 상기 관통홀에 삽입되면 길이방향을 따라 탄성력을 가하는 센터핀;을 포함하고, 상기 음극탭은 하부캔의 평면부에 평행하게 배치되고 상기 양극탭은 상부캔의 평면부에 평행하게 배치된 상태에서, 상기 상부캔과 하부캔이 결합되면, 상기 센터핀은 상기 음극탭을 상기 하부캔에 밀착시키고 상기 양극탭을 상부캔에 밀착시키도록 탄성력을 가하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 위와 같은 구성을 갖는 본 발명의 이차전지는 양극탭과 음극탭의 용접공정을 삭제할 수 있는 효과를 갖는다.
