Zusammenfassung:	The present invention a methylglyoxal synthase derived from a Clostridium difficile 630 strain comprising Strep-tag which is polypeptide, polynucleotide coding the same, a recombinant vector comprising the polynucleotide, transgenic microorganisms introduced with the recombinant vector, and a method for manufacturing methylglyoxal using the methylglyoxal synthase. According to the present invention, methylglyoxal can be efficiently produced at a high temperature. 본 발명은 폴리펩타이드인 스트렙-태그를 포함하는 클로스트리디움 디피실리 (Clostridium difficile) 630 균주 유래 메틸글라이옥살 합성효소, 이를 코딩하는 폴리뉴클레오타이드, 상기 폴리뉴클레오타이드를 포함하는 재조합 벡터, 상기 재조합 벡터가 도입된 형질전환 미생물 및 상기 메틸글라이옥살 합성효소를 이용한 메틸글라이옥살의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다.
