Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a composite positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery including a coating layer containing a nickel-based active material and a cobalt-boron compound disposed on the surface of the nickel-based active material, a manufacturing method thereof, and a lithium secondary battery containing a positive electrode including the same. The present invention improves the efficiency and lifespan of the lithium secondary battery. 니켈계 활물질과 상기 니켈계 활물질의 표면에 배치된 코발트-보론 화합물 함유 코팅층을 포함하는 리튬이차전지용 복합양극활물질, 그 제조방법 및 이를 포함한 양극을 함유한 리튬이차전지가 개시된다.
