Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a lithium secondary battery including: a positive electrode including a positive electrode current collector, and a positive electrode active material layer positioned on the positive electrode current collector; a non-aqueous electrolyte; and a negative electrode, wherein the positive electrode active material layer includes lithium transition metal oxide particles, the lithium transition metal oxide particles include 60 mol% or more of nickel (Ni) atoms based on 100 mol% of a total of transition metal atoms, and the non-aqueous electrolyte includes a polyethylene glycol-based polymer having a reduced water content. 리튬 이차전지에 관한 것으로, 양극 집전체, 및 상기 양극 집전체 상에 위치하는 양극 활물질층을 포함하는 양극; 비수전해액; 및 음극;을 포함하고, 상기 양극 활물질층은 리튬 전이금속 산화물 입자를 포함하며, 상기 리튬 전이금속 산화물 입자는 전이금속 원자 총 100몰%에 대하여 니켈(Ni) 원자를 60몰% 이상 포함하고, 상기 비수전해액은 수분 함량이 감소된 폴리에틸렌글리콜계 고분자를 포함하는 리튬 이차전지를 제공할 수 있다.
