Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an ontology-based knowledge provision system and a method thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the system comprises: an ontology knowledge model including knowledge information on a social and environmental context of context; a storage unit storing personal characteristic information and general knowledge information of a patient to be cared for; a reasoning machine configured to infer a response to a query input from a user on the basis of the ontology knowledge model and the information stored in the storage unit; and a user interface configured to receive the query from the user or output the response inferred by the reasoning machine. Accordingly, a reasoning machine and knowledge model in a unified form are provided to simultaneously infer a response related to a patient to be cared for on the basis of the personal characteristic information of the patient to be cared for and a general task response on the basis of the general knowledge information and the ontology knowledge model is structured to express knowledge information required for a caregiver who cares for to the patient to be cared for, thereby enabling anyone to take care of the patient to be cared for. 본 발명은 온톨로지 기반 지식 제공 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 일 실시예에 따른 시스템은 컨텍스트의 사회적 및 환경적 맥락에 대한 지식정보를 포함하는 온톨로지 지식모델; 간병대상자의 개인특성 정보 및 일반 지식정보를 저장하는 저장부; 상기 온톨로지 지식모델 및 상기 저장부에 저장된 정보에 기초하여 사용자로부터 입력된 쿼리에 대한 응답을 추론하도록 구성되는 추론기; 및 사용자로부터 쿼리를 입력 받거나 추론기에서 추론한 응답을 출력하도록 구성되는 사용자 인터페이스를 포함한다. 실시예에 따르면, 간병대상자의 개인특성 정보에 기초한 간병대상자 관련 응답과 일반 지식정보에 기초한 일반 태스크 응답을 동시에 추론할 수 있도록 일원화된 형태의 추론기와 지식모델이 제공되며, 상기 온톨로지 지식모델은 간병대상자를 케어하는 간병인에게 필요한 지식정보를 표현할 수 있도록 구조화되어 누구든지 간병대상자를 케어할 수 있도록 하였다.
