REFRIGERATOR

A refrigerator having a storage space and capable of efficiently removing frost from an evaporator is disclosed. The refrigerator includes the evaporator that cools air in the storage space through heat exchange of a refrigerant, and a defrost unit that removes frost formed in the evaporator. The defrost unit includes a pipe part that passes through the evaporator and has a circulation passage through which a working fluid circulates; a fluid storage part that has first and second openings respectively communicating with both ends of the pipe part, and stores the circulating working fluid; and a pumping part that is provided at one position in the circulation passage of the pipe part between the evaporator and the fluid storage part and vaporizes the working fluid to circulate the working fluid in the circulation passage. 저장공간을 구비한 냉장고가 개시된다. 냉장고는 냉매의 열교환을 통해 상기 저장공간의 공기를 냉각시키는 증발기와, 상기 증발기의 형성된 성에를 제거하는 제상유닛을 포함한다. 상기 제상유닛은 상기 증발기를 경유하며, 작동유체가 순환하는 순환유로를 가진 배관부와, 상기 배관부의 양단에 각각 연통하는 제1개구와 제2개구를 가지며, 상기 순환하는 작동유체가 저장되는 유체저장부와, 상기 증발기와 상기 유체저장부 사이의 상기 배관부의 순환유로의 일 위치에 마련되고 상기 작동유체를 기화시켜 상기 순환유로 내 상기 작동유체를 순환시키는 펌핑부를 포함한다.
