Zusammenfassung:Provided are a method for manufacturing a polarizing film capable of manufacturing a polarizing film with a good optical performance and a device for manufacturing a polarizing film. The method for manufacturing the polarizing film that manufactures the polarizing film with a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film comprises: a process of treating the polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film with a dyeing solution containing iodine; a process of adding water having an oxygen dissolved amount of 2.0 mg/L or less to a liquid containing a crosslinking agent and an iodide salt to obtain a first crosslinking treatment liquid; and a process of immersing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin film after the process of treating with the dyeing solution in the treatment liquid for crosslinking containing the first crosslinking treatment liquid.
