Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an air conditioner and an air conditioner control method and, the air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise a connector which supports a plurality of communication methods and a controller which uses at least a portion of an input signal input to the connector to determine a communication method of the input signal and receives the input signal according to the determined communication method. According to the present invention, by supporting a plurality of communication methods with the single connector, various communication methods can be simultaneously applied to the air conditioner. 본 발명은 공기 조화기 및 공기 조화기 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 공기조화기는, 복수의 통신방식을 지원하는 커넥터 및 상기 커넥터로 입력되는 입력 신호 중 적어도 일부를 이용하여 상기 입력 신호의 통신 방식을 판단하고, 판단된 통신 방식에 따라 상기 입력 신호를 수신하는 제어부를 포함 할 수 있다.
