Defective spent fuel handling container

The present invention relates to a spent nuclear fuel container. More specifically, the present invention relates to a defective spent nuclear fuel handling container which has a means to be safely handled like general spent nuclear fuel even if it is hard to handle like defective spent nuclear fuel. The spent nuclear fuel container comprises: a body (10) which has a length and volume capable of accommodating a nuclear fuel assembly; upper engagement bodies (20a, 20b) which are engaged with an upper end of the body (10) to open or seal the inside of the body (10); and a lower engagement body (30) which is engaged with a lower side of the body (10) to seal a lower side of the body (10). On the upper engagement bodies (20a, 20b) and the lower engagement body (30), a mesh member is installed to prevent the leak of radioactive particles but allow the emission of gas. 본 발명은 사용후핵연료의 용기에 관한 것으로, 특히 결함 사용후핵연료와 같이 취급이 어려운 경우에도 일반 사용후핵연료처럼 안전하게 취급할 수 있는 수단을 가지는 결함 사용후핵연료 취급 용기에 관한 것으로서, 핵연료집합체가 수용 가능한 길이와 용적을 가지는 몸체(10)와, 몸체(10) 상단에 결합되며, 몸체(10) 내부를 개방 또는 밀폐시키는 탈착식 개폐 부재가 설치된 상부 결합체(20a,20b) 및, 몸체(10) 하부에 결합되어 몸체(10) 하부를 밀폐시키는 하부 결합체(30);를 포함하며, 상부 결합체(20a,20b)와 하부 결합체(30)에는 방사성 입자의 유출은 방지시키면서 기체의 방출은 허용시키는 메시 부재가 설치되는 결함 사용후핵연료 취급 용기을 제공하고자 한다.
