| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an indoor positioning device and method, which can provide location information more accurately from an indoor place since network congestion due to collision of messages can be avoided. Specifically, the indoor positioning device includes: a mobile device receiving a user's mobility type; a tag connected to the mobile device; and an anchor receiving information on the mobility type from the tag to group the same by mobility type, and scheduling a time for message transmission to a tag in consideration of the number of tags for each mobility type.
